The Trump administration subsequently banned all US companies from employing Kaspersky software package, citing national safety issues.

Germany, meanwhile, has also warned about Kaspersky’s alleged Kremlin ties in the latest months.

In mid-March, the country’s cybersecurity company instructed Germans they must uninstall Kaspersky application from their equipment mainly because it remaining them vulnerable to hacking.

Kaspersky denied the allegation and mentioned it has no ties to the Russian federal government.
