Los Angeles Angels’ Shohei Ohtani not in lineup due to groin injury but pinch hits; next start on mound up in air

CHICAGO — Los Angeles Angels star Shohei Ohtani wasn’t in the starting off lineup Monday in opposition to the Chicago White Sox but did pinch hit following struggling a minor groin damage working to 1st base Sunday.

Ohtani entered the activity in the top of the eighth as a pinch hitter and grounded out.
